Job Description at the workplace
- Carpenters process solid wood and semi-finished wood products
- Make and assemble wooden scaffolding, work platforms and roof structures.
- Build facades and stairs, cover floors, insert windows and panel walls and ceilings.
- In charge of protecting wooden structures from the effects of weather, water, and moisture, they take care of the maintenance of wooden structures and carry out the necessary repairs.
- Based on the prepared plan, carpenters make objects from wood, manually and with tools for measuring, drilling, grinding, and milling, but also use machines, so that the wooden beams and boards have the required size and shape.
- For the tools and machines to be usable, the carpenter takes care of their maintenance.
- On the construction site, they perform assembly work as a team, joining massive wooden structures according to a previously defined plan.
- Observe safety measures and wear protective equipment.
